Day 175 : Oh So Cool
Have I told you how cool my girl is yet? Cause she is. She is like, a thousand times cooler then I can ever hope to be. I mean, when I wear sunglasses, I look like I'm trying to hard. But this girl, she can chill out in a cupcake t-shirt and rock a pair of shades like nobodies business.

Day 173 : Well Worn
I was waiting in line for the Alice in Wonderland ride at Disneyland and I wondered, "how many hands does it take to do this to painted metal?"

Day 168 : Before the Splash
My girl takes one last look at the still water, before her pink-booted foot splashes down on the puddle.

Day 167 : Splintered Layers
I spent part of the weekend sanding through an old thrift store bed, that once it''s painted, will be my daughters first "big kid" bed.
Day 166 : I Heart Balloons
Okay, maybe I don't heart balloons, but my daughter does. She was far more excited about waking up to the balloon on Valentines Day, then to her daddy's attempt at making breakfast for his girls.
I didn't burn anything...very much.

Day 164 : Chalk
It's amazing to me how quickly full sized pieces of chalk, become beautifully broken bits of their former selves in the hands of a two-year-old.

Day 163 : BO in the Sky
Okay. so the sign has nothing to do with Body Odor...well maybe not nothing...I suppose it's possible that a bowler in Studio City could have an aversion to deodorant or possibly a glandular problem.
Anyway, me likey the sign.

Day 161 : Sensitivity

Day 158 : Circus Liquor, Rainy Night 3
My take on the much photographed, often filmed, frighteningly awesome Circus Liquor neon sign at the corner of Burbank and Vineland in North Hollywood California. Unfortunately, much of the neon is out, but it's still fantastic.
This shot is number 3 in a series of 7 that I took in the rain. The other shots play with the reflection of the neon on the wet pavement. Here's a few of the other shots I was very fond of:

Day 156 : POV - Baking Soda in Back of Fridge
What the baking soda wants to know is, which of his friends are going away for ever? The strawberries, the strawberry yogurt, or the strawberry Jello?
...yes we have lot's of strawberry flavored food items (including strawberry juice bars in the freezer).
Day 155 : Magic Moon
This shot was taken here at the studio at Legend's Plaza which feature several statues and plaques honoring men and women who help create the Disney magic.. Pictured here is the top of a statue that features Mickey's hand raising a magic wand into the sky. I walked by just in time to see it magically make the moon appear. Poof!

Day 154 : Nineteen Seventies, Today
My goal here was to process this shot in a retro fashion, something that might cause one to say, "did this guy dig through my grandparents clutter drawer, scan this shot, and claim it as his own?"
...yeah, that's what I'm going for.

Day 153 : Pink Balloon, Blue Sky
I borrowed my daughter's pink balloon while she laid down for an afternoon nap.
Don't worry, I didn't let the lofty thing get away from me. It's still here to greet her when she wakes up.
(This shot was taken using the "through the viewfinder" technique with my Kodak Duaflex II).
Toy Cars (but not really)
This is a photo I took from a hot air balloon at the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Festival. I used the TiltShiftMaker to create this miniaturizing effect and viola, toy cars!
