That's it! All she wrote! End of the line! Project 365 is complete!
It was a wonderful, challenging, and illuminating experience. It feels strange to not have a camera on me at all times ready to capture each unique moment into a million little pixels.
In the last 365 day, I started my new job at Walt Disney Studios, done a little traveling, watched my baby girl Lilly grow into a big girl, and introduced a new baby, my son Charlie, to the world.
Since I started project 365, the economy was brought to it's knees, the people of the United States voted for a new direction, and the king of pop passed away. Meanwhile I was so busy with work and family that I hardly noticed a thing.
Project 365 gave me many excellent photos that I never would have captured without it, but also brought about the demise of my Canon Powershot SD850 (used to shoot this picture, (it's hard to tell on this shot, but there is a smudge on the lower right side of the photo)).
Big thanks to my lovely wife for putting up with me constantly pulling out the camera to a point that I'm sure boarded on obnoxious. Big thanks to my kids for being such excellent photo subjects. Big thanks to the 365 community for your comments and sharing all of your incredible work.
P.S. - I plan to take a little break from any big projects, but will continue posting. I think I will start a new project in January of the 52 weeks variety...perhaps something to do with all the insanely cool old signs in Los Angeles...perhaps.
