Day 152 : Blue Tile Fish

Our little blue tile fish greet us every time we brush our teeth.

(I hope the crack in the tile beneath doesn't worry the fish to much.)

Even sugar and spice and everything nice can't reduce my fever. Oof.

I have nothing to say about this. Nope, nothing.

Day 149 : Not in My Soup

They seem less like crackers and more like cookies to me...or biscuits as the British might say. I suppose ultimately, it doesn't matter what you call them, because we can all agree they both fun and delicious.

Day 148 : Dominoe Reflection

We picked up these wooden dominoes while in Mexico. My girl likes to use them with her building blocks.

Day 146 : Moody Tree Silhouette

The late afternoon sun cast this shadow against the side of my house. I really like how the separate panels create this illusion the photo has been sliced into three.

Day 145 : Three Palms in the Rain

The weather has been insane in Los Angeles! One day it's t-shirts and shorts, the next day it's sweaters and and full length pants. This shot was taken from the patio at Poquito Mas in Burbank.

Day 142 : It's a Boy

My little girl is going to have a baby brother.

Day 141 : Twirly Blue Lights

Went to Disneyland over the weekend and picked up a nemo-themed, twirly light gizmo for my daughter...okay mostly for my daughter.

Day 140 : Tiki Mickey

Judging by the look on Tiki Goofy's face and the menacing smiles on TIki Mickey and Tiki Donald, something is not right in the Tiki Magic Kingdom.

Day 139 : The Lazy Daisy

My mom and sister came into town to give the Mrs. and I a night off. We got a room in Santa Monica, then ordered in chinese and watched a movie without a single distraction. The following morning we ate a wonderful breakfast at The Lazy Daisy cafe. We thought about taking a stroll down by the pier, but ultimately we were missing our little girl and her sweet smile (see yesterday's pic for an example).

My girl got a fantastic set of wooden building blocks for Christmas. She love building towers and knocking them down.

This was a gift I gave my wife for her 30th birthday. I purchased it in a shop over on Ventrua. Ten minutes later, I ended up in the background of a paparazzi shot of Britney Spears.

Day 132 : Wussup Cat

Okay, so I know these are not really called "Wussup Cats", but that is what my wife and I have called them since my first miso soup. They are actually called Maneki Neko, which means beckoning cat or good luck cat (thank you Wikipedia). This one has been a proud member of our home for about 6 years.

Christmas was a busy day with lots of pictures, but this one was taken once everything had calmed down.

Had a half-day here at the studio, got home, loaded the car, and started our christmas eve drive to see the family up north. This was shot about 4 hours into the road trip.

Was feeling better then day 106, decided to walk down the street and see what they were shooting over at Warner Brothers Ranch lot...it was something christmasy, but didn't provide a shot for the day, so instead, here's the apartments that face the lot.

Went to The Tavern off Ventura Blvd. for a little Yule Tide Cheer with my co-worker types. Clicked this shot between Down Town Browns.

I had not yet experienced the flavor bliss that results from the marriage between fried chicken and buttery waffles. Roscoe, you truly are a king among men.
